Micro Emulsion. Emulsions are fluid systems where two substances are insoluble in each other or only solved in each other in a slight rate and one of them is finely dispergated in the other one. The required stability is obtained by an emulsifier which reduces the surface tension between the two phases. Emulgant agents have a great importance in the production of dermatological preparations, because they provide equal solution for water soluble and liposoluble substances.
